A simpler way to sell

The house needs work. Your next step doesn’t have to.

An as-is sale gives you a way to discuss selling without first organizing renovations. Start with an honest picture of the property, and compare an offer with the cost and effort of preparing it for the market.

01

Start with what you know

Tell us about the roof, basement, electrical or plumbing concerns, unfinished projects and any existing reports. You do not need a perfect renovation budget before we can talk.

02

Understand the trade-off

A buyer taking on repairs accounts for the work, uncertainty and project costs in the offer. Compare that with your expected proceeds after repairs, selling expenses and the time you would spend coordinating the project.

03

Agree on the condition at closing

Discuss what remains in the house, any safety concerns and whether an inspection or further assessment is needed. Put the agreed responsibilities in writing so both parties understand what as-is means for this sale.

No guesswork

A few things
you might be
wondering.

Ask us a question
Do I need to repair or clean the property first?

You can start the conversation with the property exactly as it is. Tell us about known repairs, belongings and occupancy so we can discuss an as-is offer. Any agreed cleanout or repairs should be recorded in the purchase agreement.

Does Pursuit buy directly or work with other buyers?

Both. Pursuit may buy a property directly, work with a buying partner, or assign its purchase agreement to another buyer. Ask which arrangement applies to your offer. The agreement should explain the relevant terms before you decide to proceed.

Am I committed when I request an offer?

No. An enquiry is a request to talk about your property, not an agreement to sell. You can ask questions, compare your alternatives and obtain independent advice before signing a purchase agreement.
