01Separate the sale from the first cleanout decision
You can begin a conversation before clearing every room. Identify the items you intend to keep, what you would like to leave and any areas that are difficult to access. An as-is offer may account for cleanout work. The agreement should say who is responsible; a general promise to buy as-is is not a list of included services.
02Find Yorkton’s municipal services before organizing disposal
Yorkton’s official site lists garbage, recycling and organics, permits, property taxes, and water and sewer resources. Consult the appropriate service when deciding how to handle municipal tasks. We do not assume every item can be left for routine collection, and this page does not set the City’s disposal rules.

03Prepare for a respectful property review
Explain access restrictions or safety concerns before a visit is considered. We confirm who will attend and when. Photographs of personal papers, family belongings or tenants are not needed in the initial enquiry. Keep the first step focused on the house, your timing and what help you are looking for.
